Follow up with more information about the letter Osechkin received which authors claimed to be Wind of Change, when they were actually from the Russian MoD
November 19th letter from the Wind of Change to Vladimir Osechkin
Please share far & wide. My comments are in (parenthesis), Wind of Change’s parenthesis are in [brackets].
“Vladimir, good evening!
The published letter about the attack via #Belarus has caused somewhat unexpected excitement from all sides. I can assert with certainty that the contents did not appear out of thin air (meaning although the authors falsely claimed to be Wind of Change, despite being likely from Russian Ministry of Defence, the content has truth in it), although I allow for some games by different players. The fact that the information came out is a big plus. (Yesterday, without discounting the contents, Wind of Change made a conjecture that the unknown authors of that letter pretended to be him in order to attempt to divert the origin of the leak which could lead to them being identified within the RU Ministry of Defence.)
First: Belarus Ministry of Defence today repeated their denial twice (presumably as a result of the published letter), the general rhetoric being – “We are not going to be attacking anyone.” This part is simple: there are agreements between Moscow and #Minsk [as well as between #Moscow and #Tehran] that any direct military assistance is not subject to disclosure.
